On the Third day morining of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams on Saturday, Sri Malayappaswamy was taken out for a procession on Simha (Lion) vahanam.
The sacred Simha vahanam with the Lord riding on a Lion with a sitting posture of “Yoga Narayanamurthy” the icon of Gnana and Bhakti themes fascinated the scores of devotees who thronged Tirumala.
Lion is a symbol of royalty and power. Lord assumed the form of half man and half lion in his Narasimha Avathara. Lord Sri Krishna says in Bhagavath Geetha that he is the Lion among the animals.
The devotees occupied every inch of Mada streets to catch a glimpse of Lord on Simha Vahanam and were captivated by His divine charm.
