TTD EO AK Singhal on Friday said that the temple management is ready for Navaratri brahmotsavams which commences on September 23. After the final high level review meeting on Brahmotsavams at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Ake Ravi Krishna and Tirupati Urban SP Abhishek Mohanty and other senior officers of TTD, the EO spoke to media persons.
He said, TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the nine-day mega religious fete which begins with the celestial rite “Ankurarpana”. Exclusive entry and exit points have been set up for the benefit of devotees entering the mada streets. Also, arrangements for supply of drinking water, lugguage counters,shoe keeping counters and mobile toilets have been put in place. The entire temple complex is being illuminated. Huge electrical images of MahaVishnu and goddess Padmavati have been set up at various vantage points. He also said TTD publication stalls will also set up during the occasion. He also said, tight security arrangements have also been made for the occasion.
“We have made wide arrangements of annaprasadam, sanitation, medical and security for the auspicious event. The pilgrims are being ensured to have direct line darshan from the previous day itself. Regular food, buttermilk and water arrangements are being ensured in the galleries. Even the breakfast session commences at 7am in Vengamamba complex followed by food serving from 11am till late night hours on this day”, he added.
