In view of the birth anniversary of the Mysore Maharaja I, Pallavotsavam was observed in Tirumala on July 23.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who took part in this fete, speaking to media persosn said, that TTD has been observing Pallavotsavam since several decades in connection with the birth anniversary of the Maharaja I of Mysore Sansthan, who made huge contributions to the Hill Shrine of Lord Venkateswara.
“After Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, the processional deities reached the gardens in Karnataka Chowltries where the Lord was accorded religious reception by the representatives of the Karnataka government”, he added.
Temple peshkar Sri Ramesh was also present.
