TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal received the traditional Godadevi garlands from Srivilliputtur at the Bedi Anjaneyaswami temple today afternoon. The garlands were first brought to Sri Pedda Jeeyangar mutt and offered pujas by both Sri Pedda Jeeyangar and Sri Chinna Jeeyar before handing it over to the TTD.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO said said the Goda garlands would be main decorative items of the Garuda Vahanams. The garlands were taken out in procession on the four mada streets by mangala vadhyams before they were escorted into the Srivari temple.
Among others who participated were DyEO Sri Koddandarama Rao and Peishkar Sri Ramesh Babu.
