Honourable Chief Justice of India, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde on Sunday offered his prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Sri Bobde made his maiden visit to the hill shrine in the capacity of CJI.
“I have been visiting the temple of Lord Venkateswara from the past forty years but this time, it was totally a new experience for me. The temple and its precincts, the architecture, the serene environs gives a soothing feel and positive energy. The maintenance of the temple by the TTD authorities is laudable”, he expressed.
Earlier the CJI given a traditional warm welcome with Isthikaphal by the temple priests and he was received by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on his arrival at the main entrance of the Tirumala temple.
Later along with his son Sri Shrinivas Bobde, the CJI offered prayers to Lord Venakteswara in the sanctum sanctorum along on Sunday. The Chief Justice of High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Justice Sri Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari also accompanied the CJI during darshan.
After darshan, the temple priests at Ranganayakula Mandapam offered Vedasirvachanam the CJI. The Chairman, EO and Additional EO offered Thirtha Prasadams, lamination photo of Lord Venkateswara to the dignitary.
