As the six-day long Sri Venkateswara Veda Sastra Agama Vidwat Sadas is all set to take part from February 25 till March 1 at Sri Venkateswara Veda Vignana Peetham at Vedagiri in Tirumala, the Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with officials inspected the ongoing arrangements in the Vedic school on Monday.
Before commencing inspection, the Additional EO reviewed the department wise progress of works for the massive Vedic conference including engineering, electrical, Reception, Annaprasadam, sanitation, floral arrangements etc. Later he inspected the Yagashala site, conference area, and ongoing civil, electrical and other works to be taken up for the big dharmic event.
The Vedic School Principal Sri KSS Avadhani said, the conference will be inaugurated on February 25 at 10: 30am. About 715 students and 115 Vedic scholars from across the country will be taking part in this massive programme. “Exams will be organised from February 26 to 29 for the students in 54 various Vedic departments and those who excel in top two positions will be felicitated on March 1 during the valedictory session with 5gm Gold and 10gm Silver dollars respectively along with certificates”, he added.
The Principal also said there will be Chaturveda Havanam and Stouta Yagam on all these days between 8am and 12noon. “Apart from this, renowned scholar Brahmasri Madugula Nagaphani Sharma will render religious discourses on Vedam-Srimadramayanam, Vedam-Mahabharatam and Vedam-Srimadbhagavatham on February 27, 28 and 29 respectively”, he maintained.
SE II Sri Nageswara Rao, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, DyEOs Sri Harindranath, Sri Nagaraja, Sri Balaji, Sri Damodar, Health Officer Dr RR Reddy, Vigilance Officer Sri Manohar and other officers were also present.
