Former Prime Minister and head of Janata Dal (Secular) HD Deve Gowda on Saturday offered prayers at Tirumala hill shrine on the occasion of his 87th birthday. He along with Karnataka Chief Minister and his son Kumaraswamy and all his family members visited Tirumala and had darshan of the diety during VIP break.
After offering prayers this morning, Gowda told reporters that he has been visiting the ancient shrine for the last 35 years on his birthday on May 18. To a query, Gowda asserted that they will remain with Congress and he is not in Prime Minister’s race.
