On the pleasant morning of Sunday during the ongoing Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams, Sri Malayappa Swamy as Mohini enthralled the pilgrims with his unparalleled Beauty and Charm.
The role of Mohini is resplendent with the mythological lore of Samudra Mathanam where Sri Maha Vishnu takes Mohini avatar to share the divine nectar between gods (Devatas) and demons (Asuras) to balance cosmic battle for supremacy. However, the Gods had an upper hand in procuring nectar while he demons were caught in the Maya of Celestial Beauty, Mohini.
While Mohini in all Her resplendent is carried out on an ivory palanquin accompanied by Sri Krishna Swamy on another carrier.
Through this unique Avatar, Lord sends a message to His devotees that they should not fall prey to worldly desires and come out of ‘Maya’ of the luxuries of world.
Every inch of all the 125 galleries have been occupied by pilgrims in the morning itself. Pilgrims are thrilled to witness the twin presence of Mohini and Lord Sri Krishna.
