The devotees of Lord Venkateswara will have a double bonanza this year as TTD will be organising Twin brahmotsavams due to Adhika Masam which is also known as Purushottama Masam and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The annual Navahnika Brahmotsavams are scheduled from September 13th to 21st while the Navarathri Brahmotsavams are slated from October 10th to 18th.
Every day there will be vahana sevas both in the morning and in the evening. This year keeping in view the convenience of the multitude of visiting pilgrims TTD has slightly amended the timings of evening Vahana Sevas after discussing with Agama pundits and religious staffs of Tirumala temple.
Usually every year vahana sevas are observed between 9am and 11am while Garuda Seva which falls on fifth day of brahmotsavams by 7.30pm. But from this year onwards the evening Vahana Sevas will be observed between 8am and 10am and Garuda Seva at 7pm.
Meanwhile the important days in September Brahmotsavams includes Dhwajarohanam on September 13th, Garuda Vahana Seva on September 17th, Swarnaratham on September 18th at 5pm, Rathotsavam on September 20th and Chakrasnanam on September 21st.
While the most important vahana sevas during Navarathri Brahmotsavams includes Garuda Seva on October 14th, Pushpaka Vimanam on October 15th, Swarnaratham on October 17th and Chakrasnanam on October 18th.
