TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Chief Priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu inspected the arrangements for the ensuing Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam.
Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, the religious fete which is observed once in 12 years is scheduled to commence from August 11 with Ankurarpanam and will conclude on August 16.
“Today we have inspected the arrangements of Homa Gundams in Yagashala for the fete and the queue line arrangements. As announced earlier the importance will be for vedic activities during these days and darshan will be provided to pilgrims based on the limited time available every day”, he added.
Earlier Tirumala JEO held a detailed review meeting with senior officers on Maha Samprokshanam along with all the chief priests of Tirumala temple at Annamaiah Bhavan.
Later speaking to media he said, for August 11 darshan, pilgrims will be allowed to enter into the queue lines only from midnight of August 10. “Keeping in view the limited space available for darshan during this period, the devotees are requested to plan their pilgrimage accordingly”, he maintained.
