India skating champion Junior Devi Sri Prasad on Sunday visited Tirumala to offer his prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Hailing from Tirupati, Devi Sri Prasad set history by skating 115.60 metres under 60 SUVs, in a rare and remarkable feat held at the Ramakrishna Housing Pvt Ltd, near the Acharya Nagarjuna University. Devi Sri Prasad along with his family had darshan of the diety on Sunday. After darshan the temple authorities presented Laddu Prasadm to him.
Speaking to reporters, the wonder boy said in Tirumala that his goal is to bring gold to India through limbo skating sport in the Olympics. He performed his skating feets outside the temple for the devotees. Devi Sri Prasad said he is very thankful for AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for giving financial assistance for him. He also said that the government would soon establish synthetic track in Tirupati city to encourage kids to take practice limbo skating.
