Chennakesavulu, a 1-year-old boy, who had been missing for the past 15 days days, was finally found on Friday in Tamil Nadu. The couple who abducted the child at the shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple during the early hours of June 14, today surrendered in berukurichi police station in Namakkal dt, Tamil Nadu. The adbucters couple Ashok and Tangavai has been taken into custody and TN Police will hand over the baby to Tirumala police today evening.
The kidnapped boy is the youngest amongst the four children of K. Venkatesh and K. Ratnamma. The couple reached Tirumala on June 13 and had darshan of Lord Venkateshwara the same night. After the darshan, the family retired to Golla mandapam for the night. When they woke up at 6.30 am, they were shocked to find their youngest child missing. The parents rushed to the police after their fervent search ended in vain. The police examined the taped footage of the closed circuit cameras. The footage showed a couple taking way the sleeping child at 5.55 am. The police have released the footage to the media.
